About Me

Hi, my name’s Aimee, the founder of Aim Health & Nutrition & I’m SO glad you’re here. If your looking to make sustainable changes to to your health and nutrition, you’re in the right place.

I am a Qualified Nutritionist & Exercise Consultant. I graduated from the University of South Australia and completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Exercise). I love for health & fitness but this was not always the case (see ‘My origin story.').

I live in the South-West of WA & My goal now is to help you eliminate the confusion around health and nutrition and help you to achieve your goals for your long-term health.

My Beliefs:

  • There is no one-stop fits all approach to nutrition.

  • Fibre is a forgotten hero in the health of your gut and mind.

  • You do not need to be perfect to be ‘perfectly’ healthy

  • If you don’t like what you’re eating, you won’t eat it so let’s incorporate things you love with a healthy twist.

  • Sleep, stress & movement also play a big role in how you feel.

I would love to work together to create a nutrition program you love and look forward to eating everyday!

My Origin Story

I love health & fitness (Cardio fitness is a work in progress haha), but this wasn’t always the case.

For as long as I can remember I suffered with stomach issues, , bloating, cramps, big weight fluctuations, headaches, sinus issues and the list goes on. Some days I would get home from my hospitality job and go to bed a 4pm as I was just in so much pain. I went to countless doctors, ENT’s, gastroenterologists but they didn’t find anything, so I was told I had IBS and there were no long-term consequences so I should just continue on with my life. But feeling the way i did for all those years, I didn’t want to ‘just survive’ anymore.

The ongoing weight fluctuations also took a toll on me mentally. I tried every crash diet, every craze, every crazy restrictive diet that i thought would help nothing worked and only led to a bingeing and restricting cycle that I lived over and over again (Looking back - Obviously).

Finally I decided I couldn’t go on like this anymore so I decided after many years working in Hospitality, Events & Marketing to go back to university and study Nutrition and Exercise. I thought if no-one can help me, I’m going to help myself.

Without really knowing what I was going to do with this degree at the end, it became increasing obvious through my university and self-learning and well as just scrolling socials, that nutrition is confusing, everyone is trying to sell the latest ‘health craze’ without much evidence to back it up and the amount of information is overwhelming. So from here, I found a passion for helping others to block out all the noise and focus on nutrition and healthy habits that feel best for them, and Aim Health & Nutrition was born.

These days while I’m personally still a work in progress (As we all are) I feel great most days and I want to help you feel the same. TRUST ME - If I can do this, you absolutely can too!!

Why Work with Me?

I will meet you where you are at and help you to build up sustainable lifestyle changes from there.

Are you busy and rely and convenience foods? We’ll find some healthier convenience foods.

Don’t like salads and prefer sandwiches - we’ll find a way to add some more nutrition to your sandwich.

Don’t want to meal prep for the whole week, that’s ok too. Maybe we can look at just meal prepping one protein for the week and work up for there.

Can’t work out? How about walking?

We will find a way together for this to be sustainable for you.
