Poached Chicken

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 2 x Chicken Breast (Approx: 500g)

  • Bone Broth or Water

  • Salt/Pepper

Method

Bring a pot of water or bone broth to a boil.

Once boiling, add the chicken breasts and allow the water to return to a boil. Then turn the heat off, cover with a lid, and let the chicken sit for 20–30 minutes to cook through.

Once cooked, remove from the liquid and let rest for 5–10 minutes.
Shred using two forks (or a mixer for extra ease).

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • This chicken is great for meal prep and will last 4 days stored in the fridge or will freeze really well too

  • Add it to salads, sandwiches or my favourite add some mexican seasoning and make tacos!
